Obama Wins Iowa Democratic Caucus
Barack Obama comes in first in Iowa!
It’s hard to be disappointed. I’m a John Edwards supporter, but to be quite honest while I definitely have my preferences, I won’t be ashamed to have any one of the top three on the national ballot.
As of this post, Edwards and Clinton are heading to the wire and it looks like a photo finish in the making. I’m not surprised that the three way finish is as close as it seems to be. I’m sure both John and Hillary are disappointed with their place and show positions, but New Hampshire is less than a week away and neither have time to lick their wounds.
It’s time to move on and maybe New Hampshire will be more decisive. I’m looking forward to the Saturday debates. At some point in time, these three have to start pointing out the differences in their positions more clearly. There are subtle differences, but one must read their position papers very closely in most cases to make any distinctions. And, having done so, I will just say, “Congratulations” to Obama for now.
Edwards is still my candidate of choice.
