I don’t think so.
There is a report that the White House has no electronic records (email) for 473 days between 2003 and 2005. It seems that this little discovery has put everyone’s knickers in a twist.
Apparently, there is a requirement that all communications be kept for history and in case of legal matters. Henry Waxman is contesting the missing archived email that seems to be missing from the offices of the President and Vice President.
What is the problem, folks? If there is a hard drive, there is email. It doesn’t take a mental giant to figure out that if the hard drives exist the email exists. Of course, we haven’t seen too many mental giants in Washington lately.
So, rather than spend all the time and money (our tax dollars) to take this thing to Court… and I understand that someone has filed a motion in the Court already… just get the damned hard drives and hire someone to record the information on them. Done! That’s it!
And, let’s stop pretending that anyone really thinks deleting an email from “your sight” has anything to do with deleting it from the hard drive.
