Elephants and Asses

Barack may be willing to investigate Bill’s dance steps to determine if he’s a “brother”, but no one need look another second into Mitt’s heritage.  He’s never set foot anywhere near the hood.  Of course, “Who Let the Dogs Out?” was a hit several years ago and Mitt’s “woof” will do nothing to revive the tune.  Mitt, let sleeping dogs lie.

It seems that Barack and Hillary are still throwing punches, after the main event.  And, John visits David Letterman.  So far, I’ve only seen a trailer but it looks like Dave could have roughed him up a little… at least, his hair.  But, among the candidates, that’s light work.  Barack and Hillary are almost down to mud wrestling.

As suggested a few days ago, Fred Thompson recognized that for all the hoopla that led up to his entering the GOP race, he brought too little too late.  Now, he can go back to Hollywood and be a tv cop again.  At least, on the television he is well scripted.

McCain seems to be taking Florida in stride and it’s starting to look as if Giuliani should have been looking for a retirement home rather than votes in the peninsula state.  Someone should have had the courage to tell Rudy that as a candidate “out of sight, out of mind” is as relevant as it gets.

By the way, has anyone seen Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich lately?  I kind of miss them.  Both bring something to the table that no other candidate will dare say, but quite a few Americans quietly think.  Let’s just say they keep the rest of the candidates on their toes.
