NBC Nightly News Tells One Side of Obama Story

The broadcast media is about as slow as snail mail these days… or, they are showing a bias.

We all saw the last Democratic debate.  Hillary threw Tony Rezko, not in jail, at Barack Obama, alleging that Tony had made donations to Obama’s campaign.  Well, that was part of the truth.  Rezko has contributed money to the Obama campaign and according to all sources, Obama has donated that money to charity.  I’m wondering if he didn’t want to offend his friend by just returning the money.

But, that isn’t the real issue with Obama.  As we all know by now, Obama bought a house in Chicago in 2005.  In order to buy the house a vacant lot had to be sold and closed upon at the same time.  The seller owned both the property and the house.  Well, at closing Barack Obama paid $1.65M for the house, some $350,000 less than the asking price and Tony Rezko’s wife bought the vacant lot for the full asking price of $650,000.  There are a few trees on the vacant lot that lies within the huge iron fence that surrounds the Obama home.  Trees or not, the deal looks shady.

I’m not suggesting that the deal was shady.  I have no way of knowing.  I am suggesting that it gives the appearance of more than a dual closing.  And, of course, appearance and perception are far more damning that reality in some cases.

Okay, so that nails Obama.  Score one for Hillary.  But, what the Nightly News failed to mention was the relationship between the Clintons and Rezko.  Follow the link to the now infamous picture that Hillary can’t remember.  Maybe she can’t remember Tony Rezko, or maybe she doesn’t want to.  Either way, it is obvious that Bill, Hill and Tony were arm holding friends for a time.

For months, NBC, CBS, ABC, and FOX have been selectively carving candidates out of the picture, giving their spin and eliminating the lesser known candidates.  For two months, the big Four have been touting the Democratic primaries as a two person race.

Oh, my…. and now they are reporting dirt on Obama and failing to mention the dust on Hillary… other than the fact that she enlightened the nation to Obama’s relationship.  Granted there are a few people left who rely on “nightly news” for information.  But, do they really believe with internet access available for anyone who wishes to use it, even if it is the publice library, do they really believe they can continue to get by with one sided reporting…. especially since this is old news?
