Rezko has been very active in raising money for and contributing to politicians — Republicans and Democrats — at the local, state and federal level. He [Rezko] contributed to President Clinton in the 1990s and served as a co-chair for a multimillion-dollar fundraiser for President George W. Bush in 2003.

I guess that explains the picture Hillary couldn’t remember.  So, Rezko contributed to Bill.  I guess he was indicted before he could contribute to Hillary.

And, what about George Bush?  Co-chair of a multi-million dollar fundraiser in 2003 for George the 43rd?  I’ll be.

Rezko is a political whore, giving where he thinks he can get.  But, as opening statements began today, there was no mention of Barack Obama.  It was reported that while Rezko and Obama had been seen in social situations, there is absolutely nothing…. nada, nil, zilch, that implicates Obama in any of Rezko’s dealings.  In fact, there was not mention of Obama anywhere around the trial arena.

We know that Obama did receive contributions from Rezko, but gave the donations to charity.

So, all in all it looks like the pot, the kettle and the White House have all been gifted by Mr. Rezko.  However, it seems that Obama is the only one mentioned to have donated his contributions to charity.
