Clinton Tries to Manipulate Voters Suggesting Obama on Her Ticket

Twice within the past few days Senator Clinton has hinted that she might consider Senator Obama as her running mate if she is the nominee. Oh, please. Does she really believe that vague hints and coy smiles are going to get voters to believe that her ticket would be a two-fer?

So many Democrats have visions of sugar plums dancing in our heads and a general election ticket that includes both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. First of all, I’m not sure that’s a practical dream. Secondly, I’m not sure it’s really the winning dream, although it may be. And most of all, I don’t believe for one second that Hillary Clinton would choose Barack Obama as her running mate. She may. But, I doubt it.

Whether she would or she would not, I do believe she is attempting to manipulate the voters’ choices. The hint that she would select Obama gives hope that we could get two for one. And, Senator Clinton is willing to try to sway votes to her by hinting that she, if nominated, would consider him.

I seriously don’t believe anyone with one eye and half sense is going to buy into the ploy, but it is creative…. and it looks better and sounds better than watching Hillary beat Barack over the head with a dead chicken.
