Let’s hear it for McCain’s campaign.  It is just a suspension and it is unclear how long it will last, but John McCain’s campaign has suspended the staffer who send out a piece meal video of Obama spliced to Wright.  The negative video was put together by a former producer of the Laura Ingraham talk show.

McCain is not my candidate.  I would not vote for him.  I disagree with his policies.  But, I respect his effort at this point in time to keep the campaign on the high road. 

Perhaps, Senator McCain and/or his campaign realizes that amid all the grumbling and mudslinging, there are real issues that deserve our attention, not more diversions and divisions.  He must be commended for doing the right thing.
