Senator Joe Biden spoke out against what is anticipated in the coming week, General David Petraeus’ testimony before Congress.

We know what is going to be said… more time… more time.  That is the exact same rhetoric Petraeus has handed us each and every time he has opened his mouth.  We will have everything assessed in six months, and when six months is up, it will take another six months, and so on.

On Saturday Biden told it like it is:

“The purpose of the surge was to bring violence in Iraq down so that its leaders could come together politically,” said Biden, D-Del., in this week’s Democratic radio address. “Violence has come down, but the Iraqis have not come together.”

At least we have one senator willing to say the surge is a failure.  Now, what are we going to do about it?
