In Defense of Wesley Clark… Not that He Needs Defending

This is going to be short and sweet.  Wesley Clark did not question John McCain’s patriotism while on “Meet the Press” yesterday.  For Senator McCain to complain that he did is an attempt to misstate Clark’s meaning.  For Obama to discredit Clark’s statement is to shrink from a real issue in this campaign.

Oh, no!  We haven’t “won” any of the wars.  And, we are still hearing the rising death toll of American soldiers on the battlefields in Iraq and Afghanistan.  But, when the Iraqi’s decided to hand out oil contracts, the State Department was right there to make sure that American companies are well represented.
