Best Line of the Day and Medical Malpractice

Obama to McCain:  “We’re not campaigning, John.  The election is over.”

Enough said.

Later, McCain spoke on health care reform mentioning medical malpractice.  Unfortunately, McCain tried to make a joke or two — none of which were funny.  However, he did mention that in California with caps on medical malpractice, lawsuits are down, and so on.

McCain also brought up reconciliation — again.

President Obama addressed the issue saying that the American people don’t care about reconciliation.  They care about getting a vote.  That’s kind of true — depending on if you are a “D” or an “R.”

Then Obama lit into Boehner, asking Boehner to “work together” with him on a couple of issues.

Dick Durbin addressed medical malpractice, saying that medical malpractice holds doctors accountable.  Like it or not — and that depends on if you are a victim or medical malpractice — there is a need for victims to have a recourse.
