New York Senate Denies Same-Sex Marriage

Well, that’s the news from New York.  Another state has voted against the rights of a cohort of its citizens.  Today the New York Senate voted against same sex marriage in a 38 to 24 vote.

How the States Waste Legislative Time and Money:Alabama

So, this morning I read about Mississippi wanting to ban fat people from restaurants.  As ridiculous as that seemed I decided to do some research.  I’m becoming obsessed with stupid bills and laws. 
What I found was astonishing in Alabama:
