Dick Cheney: Clueless

by sinde on January 8, 2009

If one needs more proof that the Bush administration and the Decider-in-Chief are clueless, according to Dick:

Cheney defended the administration’s performance on an economy that is growing weaker daily and that recently collapsed in spectacular fashion. Cheney said that “nobody anywhere was smart enough to figure it out.”

He said Bush doesn’t need to apologize because he has taken “bold, aggressive action.”

According to Cheney “no one saw it coming.”  Well, that may be true of the Village the Idiot inhabits, but had they opened their eyes and ears to the American public they would have seen it coming and heard the voices of Americans.

Whether it is the present administration or some of the economists, they started believing the lies they were telling us.  As one of my friends often says, the way to doom is to begin believing the lies you tell others.

It did not take a mental giant to figure out that mortgages for 100% or more of the appraised value of a house was a ticket to financial hell.  Additionally, the Bush-Cheney card have never shown any interest in the average American citizen, except to pluck them for war.

To Cheney we will only say that those of us in the real American world saw it coming and it wasn’t in the form of a snowball but it hit us as an avalanche.  And, hell no, we don’t want an apology from Bush.  We just want him to go home so competent people can take control of the situation.

As to the “bold, aggressive action” of giving $700 Billion to Henry Paulson, it was just plain stupid.  But, we have to hand it to Hank.  He sold Congress on his scheme and they voted for it against the will of their constituents.  Thanks, Hank!  Thanks, 110th Congress.

Now, get out of the way before the average man on the street becomes every average man in the streets.
