The dog days of December are upon us. Bo, the DOTUS, is getting his very on Christmas stocking this year. Who would have ever guessed?
According the releases from the upcoming Oprah interview with the President and First Lady, Michelle Obama named Bo as one who has a Christmas stocking. Apparently, Bo has been a good dog since arriving at the White House in April, regardless of some reports to the contrary.
On the other hand, another dog in the headlines. Governor Mark Sanford of South Carolina is getting a lump of coal, a lump on the head and a divorce. Merry Christmas, Mr. Governor.
Having escaped impeachment proceedings, Governor Sanford did not fare so well with his wife, Jenny. According to the New York Times, Mrs. Sanford filed for divorce today.
It is reported that as late as last night the governor stated that he wanted to remain married. Should have thought of that sooner, don’t you think?
