After several hours of rambling babble, rehashing last week’s concerns, it was evident that Senator Hillary Clinton would be confirmed to the post of Secretary of State.
Finally, some seconds after 4:10 p.m. a roll call vote was held confirming Senator Clinton as President Barack Obama’s Secretary of State. The vote was not unanimous. However, it was an overwhelming 94 to 2. Upon the announcement the Senate broke out in cheers.
