Ho-Hum!
I was making popcorn for the speech, but Bush was done before the popcorn. So, there you have it folks. I certainly don’t feel any more informed than I did at ten minutes to nine. We are still in an economic crisis and there is a credit crunch. If we don’t bail out the banks, they won’t lend us any money. And, if we do bail the banks out of this crisis, they may lend us money or they may not.
So, there it is in a nut shell from a nut case.
I have watched CSPAN for two days. I have heard all the Representatives ask the same questions you and I are asking. I have watched as Paulson and Bernanke have danced around without answering any of the questions with specificity.
We all get the general idea. But, when are we going to get some real facts? Not from Bush. Let’s just hope we can hold it together long enough to get a real President in office.
In the meantime, let’s have a debate on Friday night.
